India captain Smriti Mandhana smashed her maiden t20i century in a masterclass in the IND-W vs ENG-W 1st T20I on Saturday. Batting first, Mandhana smashed the England attack to all parts of Trent Bridge in a knock for the ages. The left-hander joins captain Harmanpreet Kaur, as only the second Indian Women to score a century in T20Is.

Filling in for Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana smashed a stunning century at Trent Bridge on Saturday. While parnter Shafali Verma struggled to get going, the left-hander looked fluent throughout in one of her better career knocks. She then stitched an attacking partnership with Harleen Deol to put India Women in pursuit of a 200+ total. It is the 5th fastest T2)i century among full member nations and the highest score by an Indian Women in T20Is
